Desire and family practices in contemporary days.
On June 10th 2016 at Université de Toulouse II Jean Jaurés took place the 
workshop “Désirer la famille – Revendications, defenses et encadrements” in the context of the ETHOPOL research project.
Speakers framed the contemporary plurality of families and parenting forms in the light of the latest developments in reproductive techonolgies, of the current political debate enflaming the public opinions in many European countries, and the evolution in the family law.
Chiara Sità and Federica de Cordova intervention dealt with “intensive parenting” as empowering strategy for the LGB parents in Italy, lacking any kind of legal recognition of their families.
